Product Development

Our innovations and product development process are underpinned by our in depth understanding of the pest and building industries and the needs and requirements of pest control operators and building inspectors.

1999 – T1R

After several years of work, Termatrac patented its first generation of radar technology in 1997. After 2 years of development and testing, Termatrac launched the T1R. The T1R was a game changer for termite inspections and was recognised outside the pest control industry as a significant innovation, being awarded the Winner of Australian Design Award.

2010 – T3i All Sensor

The T3i All Sensor was the first all-in-one device, providing radar, moisture, and temperature measurement capabilities in the one device. It became an industry mainstay in Australia, being listed in the Australian Standards - AS 3660.2.2017 as a specialist tool, and sales expanded rapidly across the globe.

2024 – iTraker PRO

The third generation Termatrac device was launched, the iTraker PRO. The iTraker PRO stands as a cutting-edge, non-invasive detection device, fully furnished to pinpoint the movement of insects and other pest. Integrated with user-friendly troubleshooting sensors, this device meets with industry standards and requirements. As a result, it economically provides a more precise and comprehensive inspection and treatment strategy, delivered by Pest Control Operators and Building Inspectors.
